despite being the richest country in the history of the planet, nearly 1/5 of population struggles with food insecurity. it's a subtle form of violence, but it's violence all the same, and there's only one way to deal with a boot on your neck: steal the boot.

"If You See Someone Stealing Food" is an eight-page argument for shoplifting. the zine is free to download, and designed in a simple, "magic zine" style for easy reproduction.

this is the first in a series of radical zines titled "Insurrectionary Material". the term was recently used to describe zines ("Prosecutors have also noted the presence of multiple firearms, “insurrectionary materials called ‘zines,’”) as part of the case against the so-called "North Texas Antifa Cell" that was arrested in connection with a demonstration at the Immigration and Customs Enforcement detention center in Alvarado, Texas in July 2025.
